Attendees will have the opportunity to celebrate current projects and the year to come.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMass Audubon\u2019s Wachusett Meadow and Broad Meadow Brook teams have been hosting this member event for many years as a way to celebrate local successes and raise awareness of opportunities to get involved,\u201d said Central Mass Audubon Regional Director Jenn Madson.<\/p>\n<p>Guests can enjoy appetizers, beer and wine accompanied by live music performed by local favorite and Americana-inspired The Hip Swayers, all while learning about the programs and partnerships offered by the nonprofit organization.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a way for Mass Audubon members and supporters to learn more about our conservation work, nature education, and climate action projects across Worcester County while building community,\u201d Madson said. \u201cEnjoy food, fun, and music at one of our most dear local treasures, Wachusett Meadow Wildlife Sanctuary.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She went on to say that it\u2019s important to Mass Audubon to provide these kinds of community-oriented events as a way to get people involved in the \u201ccritical work\u201d they do.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMass Audubon is committed to protecting the nature of Massachusetts for people and for wildlife,\u201d Madson said. \u201cCommunity gatherings like our Mix and Mingle and fall Hey Day event strengthen people\u2019s connection to and love of nature. We love seeing our friends and neighbors get as excited about this work as we do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She added that they appreciate the community\u2019s \u201congoing care and passion for Mass Audubon\u2019s mission.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hope the good work happening at our sanctuaries every day encourages your continued connection and inspires your support,\u201d she said. \u201cIf you have already made a gift this year, we are very grateful.
