Urbina.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Assumption Univ. dean&#8217;s list<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>WORCESTER \u2014 Assumption University has announced its dean&#8217;s list for the fall 2023 semester. Dean&#8217;s list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater. Local students named to the list: <strong>Hadiya Giwa<\/strong>, <strong>Hamida Giwa<\/strong>, <strong>Nathan Lee<\/strong> and <strong>Shawn Mentzer<\/strong> of Holden; <strong>Brendan Roy<\/strong> of Sterling.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RIT dean&#8217;s list<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ROCHESTER, N.Y. \u2014 The following local students were named to the dean&#8217;s list at Rochester Institute of Technology for the fall semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. Full-time degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for dean&#8217;s list if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of &#8220;Incomplete&#8221;, &#8220;D&#8221; or &#8220;F&#8221;; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Leah Bovat<\/strong> and <strong>Michael Selent<\/strong> of Holden, and <strong>Max Berman<\/strong>, <strong>Luc Bastarache<\/strong> and<strong> Aimee Gleason<\/strong> of Sterling.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bryant Univ. president&#8217;s, dean&#8217;s lists<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SMITHFIELD, R.I. \u2014 Bryant University recognizes the local students who have been named to the Fall 2023 president&#8217;s and dean&#8217;s lists.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ashley Parechanian<\/strong> of Holden and <strong>Lukas LaHaye<\/strong> of Sterling were named to the president&#8217;s list, an academic distinction reserved for Bryant&#8217;s highest achievers who earn a GPA of 4.0 for at least 12 semester hours of work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ashley Parechanian<\/strong>, <strong>Tyler Turcotte<\/strong> and <strong>Jeremy Vigeant<\/strong> of Holden; <strong>Ryan Plourde<\/strong> of Paxton; <strong>Liam Dolan<\/strong> of Princeton; <strong>James Dubovick<\/strong> and <strong>Brendan Shaw<\/strong> of Rutland; and <strong>Lukas LaHaye<\/strong> and <strong>Samantha Mendez<\/strong> of Sterling were named to the dean&#8217;s list. To earn a place on the dean&#8217;s list, students must have a GPA of 3.4 or better for at least 12 semester hours of work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WPI project award finalist<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>WORCESTER \u2014 Undergraduate project teams from Worcester Polytechnic Institute were recently honored as finalists of the President&#8217;s Interactive Qualifying Project Awards. Claire Higginson of Holden, class of 2024, majoring in robotics engineering, was a member of one of the finalist teams. Hundreds of Interactive Qualifying Projects are completed each year by WPI students as part of their graduation requirements. A fraction of those are then submitted to be considered for a President&#8217;s IQP Award.<\/p>\n<p>Five student teams gave their final presentations in front of a panel of judges to determine the winners of the 2023 awards.
