To earn a spot on the dean&#8217;s list, Regis sophomores, juniors, seniors, and professional studies students must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher; first-year students must have a GPA of 3.25 or higher. Additional criteria can be found in Regis&#8217; Academic Catalog.<\/p>\n<p>Local student&#8217;s name to Regis&#8217; dean&#8217;s list: <strong>Andre Rodriguez<\/strong> of Holden, <strong>Madigan Burgess<\/strong> of Rutland, and <strong>David Francis<\/strong> and <strong>Emmanuel Francis<\/strong> of Sterling.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Elms College dean&#8217;s list<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>CHICOPEE \u2014 The College of Our Lady of the Elms has named the following local students to the dean&#8217;s list for the fall 2023 semester. Named to the list are <strong>Seamus Higgins<\/strong> of Rutland and <strong>Piper Bennett<\/strong> of Sterling.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UDallas dean&#8217;s list<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>IRVING, Texas \u2014 Nearly 500 University of Dallas undergraduate students were named to the fall 2023 dean&#8217;s list for earning a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher. Local students named to the list are <strong>Jonathan Forkey<\/strong> of Princeton and <strong>Catherine Contonio<\/strong> of Sterling.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cedarville Univ. dean&#8217;s list<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>CEDARVILLE, Ohio \u2014 <strong>Emma Landadio<\/strong> of Sterling was named to the fall 2023 dean&#8217;s list at Cedarville University. Students receive this recognition for obtaining a 3.5 GPA or higher for the semester and carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Univ. of Alabama dean&#8217;s list<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>TUSCALOOSA, Ala. \u2014 <strong>Annika Gunnard<\/strong> of Rutland was named to The University of Alabama dean&#8217;s list for fall semester 2023. A total of 13,950 students enrolled during fall semester 2023 at the university were named to the dean&#8217;s list with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the president&#8217;s list with an academic record of 4.0.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Univ. of Rhode Island dean&#8217;s list<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>KINGSTON, R.I. \u2014 The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce the fall 2023 dean&#8217;s list. Local students named to the list are: <strong>Matt Claussen<\/strong>, <strong>Kyle Gunning<\/strong> and <strong>Katie McCarthy<\/strong> of Holden; <strong>Connor Hodgkins<\/strong>, <strong>Thomas Mason<\/strong>, <strong>Grace Whittier<\/strong> and <strong>Delainey Witt<\/strong> of Princeton; <strong>Grace Marrier<\/strong>, <strong>Abby Menice<\/strong> and <strong>Brenna Ward<\/strong> of Rutland; and <strong>Elise Newman<\/strong> of Sterling.<\/p>\n<p>To be included on the dean&#8217;s list, full-time students must have completed 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable during a semester and achieved at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 or more credits for letter grades which are GPA applicable earning at least a 3.30 quality point average.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Univ. of Scranton dean&#8217;s list<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SCRANTON, Pa. \u2014 <strong>Devin J. Perry<\/strong> of Sterling was among more than 1,600 students named to The University of Scranton&#8217;s dean&#8217;s list for the 2023 fall semester. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours during the semester to make the dean&#8217;s list.<\/p>\n<p><strong>James Madison Univ. president&#8217;s, dean&#8217;s lists<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>HARRISONBURG, Va. \u2014 <strong>Michael Powers<\/strong> of Holden has been named to the president&#8217;s list at James Madison University for the fall 2023 semester. Students who earn president&#8217;s list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of 3.900 or above.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Talia Jackson<\/strong> of Holden has been named to the dean&#8217;s list at James Madison for the fall 2023 semester. Students who earn dean&#8217;s list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.899.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seton Hall Univ. dean&#8217;s list<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. \u2014 Seton Hall University has announced that <strong>Emma Gingras<\/strong> of Holden has qualified for the fall 2023 dean&#8217;s list. After the close of every semester, undergraduate students completing all courses with a GPA of 3.4, with no grades lower than &#8220;C,&#8221; qualify for the dean&#8217;s list.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saint Anselm dean&#8217;s list<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>MANCHESTER, N.H. \u2014 Saint Anselm College has released the dean&#8217;s list of high academic achievers for the second semester of the 2022-2023 school year. To be eligible for this honor, a student must have achieved a grade point average of 3.4 or better in the semester with at least 12 credits of study which award a letter grade. A total of 557 students representing 24 states and five countries received this honor.<\/p>\n<p>The following local students were named to the dean&#8217;s list: <strong>Ashley Beriau<\/strong> and <strong>Colin Moran<\/strong> of Holden; <strong>Mary Morkunas<\/strong> of Paxton; <strong>Jacob Nadeau<\/strong> of Rutland; and <strong>Isabelle Ortiz<\/strong> of Sterling.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saint Anselm honor society inductees<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>MANCHESTER, N.H. \u2014 Saint Anselm College student <strong>Jake Nadeau<\/strong> of Rutland, a business major in the class of 2024, has been inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, a national scholar-athlete honor society, for the 2022-2023 academic year. Chi Alpha Sigma recognizes college students who receive a varsity letter in their sport while maintaining a 3.4 or higher cumulative GPA throughout their junior and\/or senior years. Inductees rank among the top student athletes in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Saint Anselm student <strong>Mary Morkunas<\/strong> of Paxton, a history major in the class of 2026, was accepted into Alpha Lambda Delta, a national scholastic honor society for first-year success, for the 2022-2023 academic year.
