Bridgewater State graduates<\/p>\n

FOXBORO \u2014 Bachelor\u2019s degrees in the arts, sciences, business, and education were awarded to approximately 1,700 graduates during Bridgewater State University\u2019s 182ne Spring Commencement Convocation held at Gillette Stadium on May 13.<\/p>\n

Undergraduate majors from the Ricciardi College of Business, College of Education & Allied Studies, and the Bartlett College of Science & Mathematics were awarded their degrees during a morning ceremony while students in the College of Humanities & Social Sciences received their diplomas in the afternoon.<\/p>\n

The following area residents were among those who graduated: Trevor Nutt, Jenna Root <\/b>and Brenna Washburn, <\/b>all of Rutland.<\/p>\n

SNHU president\u2019s, dean\u2019s lists MANCHESTER, NH \u2014 Southern New Hampshire University congratulates the following local students on being named to the winter 2023 president\u2019s list. The winter terms run from January to May. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term are named to the president\u2019s list. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter\/ spring, and summer.<\/p>\n

The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi<\/p>\n

Deborah O\u2019Brien Thibodeau <\/b>of Holden was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation\u2019s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. O\u2019Brien Thibodeau was initiated at Framingham State University.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Brien Thibodeau is among approximately 25,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year. Membership is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by a chapter. Only the top 10 percent of seniors and 7.5 percent of juniors are eligible for membership. Graduate students in the top 10 percent of the number of candidates for graduate degrees may also qualify, as do faculty, professional staff and alumni who have achieved scholarly distinction.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
