The organization recently announced its 2023 fundraising goal for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute: a record $70 million.<\/p>\n<p>The PMC, which donates 100 percent of every rider- raised dollar to support lifesaving cancer research and care, is Dana-Farber\u2019s largest single contributor, accounting for more than 60 percent of its Jimmy Fund\u2019s annual revenue. If achieved, this record fundraising campaign would bring the PMC\u2019s total contributions in the fight against cancer to $970 million since 1980, positioning the organization to cross a monumental $1 billion cumulative fundraising milestone in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Fundraising for this year\u2019s gift kicked off Feb. 4 during the PMC Winter Cycle, where hundreds of spin enthusiasts came together for high-energy indoor cycling sessions led by Boston\u2019s best instructors overlooking historic Fenway Park.<\/p>\n<p>While registration for this year\u2019s PMC, which will take place Aug. 5 and 6, is filling up quickly, it\u2019s not too late to join the organization and its dedicated community in its mission to fund the cures for cancer.
