To qualify for this honor, students must have a semester grade-point average of 3.50 or better and must have successfully completed all courses for which they were registered. Approximately 52 percent of Belmont\u2019s 7,100 undergraduate students qualified for the fall 2022 dean\u2019s list.<\/p>\n<p>Plymouth State Univ. president\u2019s, dean\u2019s lists<\/p>\n<p>PLYMOUTH, NH \u2014<\/p>\n<p><b>Madison Senecal <\/b>of Rutland, an exercise and sport physiology major, has been named to Plymouth State University\u2019s dean\u2019s list for the fall 2022 semester. To be named to the dean\u2019s list, a student must achieve a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.69 during the semester and must have attempted at least 12 credit hours.<\/p>\n<p><b>Athena Comeau <\/b>of Rutland, a marketing major, has been named to the president\u2019s list at Plymouth State University. To be named to the president\u2019s list, a student must achieve a grade point average of 3.7 or better for the semester and must have attempted at least 12 credit hours.<\/p>\n<p>Spring 2022 dean\u2019s award with distinction HAMILTON, NY \u2014 Students at Colgate University who receive a term grade point average of 3.6 or higher while completing at least three courses for a conventional letter grade during the spring 2022 semester earn the Dean\u2019s Award with Distinction. Local students who received that honor: <b>Emma Hickey <\/b>of Rutland and <b>Benjamin Godbout <\/b>and <b>Abigail Grady, <\/b>both of Sterling.<\/p>\n<p>Hajos inducted into honor society<\/p>\n<p>BATON ROUGE, LA \u2014 <b>Alexander Hajos <\/b>of Holden was initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation\u2019s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society, in December 2022. Hajos was initiated at MCPHS University.<\/p>\n<p>Hajos is among approximately 25,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year. Membership is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by a chapter. Only the top 10 percent of seniors and 7.5 percent of juniors are eligible for membership. Graduate students in the top 10 percent of the number of candidates for graduate degrees may also qualify, as do faculty, professional staff and alumni who have achieved scholarly distinction.<\/p>\n<p>Kemble initiated into Omicron Delta Kappa<\/p>\n<p>LEXINGTON, VA \u2014 <b>Isabella Kemble <\/b>of Holden was recently initiated into the Worcester State University Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Honor Society. The society welcomed 1,085 new initiates from 45 universities during November 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Students initiated into the society must be sophomores, juniors, seniors, or graduate\/professional students in the top 35% of their class, demonstrate leadership experience in at least one of the five pillars, and embrace the ODK ideals. Fewer than five percent of students on a campus are invited to join each year.<\/p>\n<p>DiPietro graduates from College of Charleston<\/p>\n<p>CHARLESTON, SC \u2014 <b>Julia DiPietro <\/b>of Holden recently graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the College of Charleston. DiPietro was among more than 290 students who received degrees.<\/p>\n<p>Jordan earns degree from CSC<\/p>\n<p>CHADRON, NE \u2014 <b>Margaret Jordan <\/b>of Holden earned a Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude from Chadron State College in December.<\/p>\n<p>CSC\u2019s combined undergraduate and graduate winter commencement exercises were canceled Dec. 16, due to heavy snowfall and high winds. The list of candidates includes summer graduates and consists of 71 names for master\u2019s degrees and for 108 bachelor\u2019s degrees.
