This mailing also includes the fourth quarterly bill, which is is due May 1.<\/p>\n<p>The tax rate for fiscal 2023 was set by the Department of Revenue at $13.72 per thousand.<\/p>\n<p>If you have issues with the assessed value of your property that is listed on your fiscal 2023 bill, you should contact the Board of Assessors office at 508-886-4101, ext. 3004, or email BOA@townofrutland.org.<\/p>\n<p>Payments should be mailed, along with your payment coupon, to our lockbox service at Town of Rutland, Department 1280, PO Box 986500, Boston, MA 02298-6500. Please note that payments should be mailed in time to arrive in Boston <i>before <\/i>the due date. Postmarks are not accepted.<\/p>\n<p>Payments may be made online by going to www.townofrutland. org and clicking on the \u201cPay Bills Online\u201d link then choosing \u201cTax Collector Online Payments.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Check or money order payments can also be placed in the secure payment drop box located outside the offi ces at 250 Main St. The box is checked for payments throughout the day.
