HOLDEN — Looking for a Wachusett Regional High School sports that team you can wrap your arms around? One that brings enthusiasm, talent and is just plain fun to watch? That could be just about any of the school’s teams, but try the often unheralded WRHS girls’ varsity volleyball team, which has built a 7-1 record following its 3-0 defeat of visiting Hudson High on Sept. 22.

HOLDEN — It’s been more than 11 years since the Thibodeau family lost their 12-year-old son Josh after he collapsed while playing soccer. Although the pain is still a constant and heartbreaking presence in their lives, they remain committed to channeling their grief into doing something good through the foundation created in his name.

WACHUSETT — The Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk presented by Hyundai is slated for Sunday, Oct. 2.

HOLDEN — After falling to Franklin High, the Wachusett Regional High School varsity football’s perennial nemesis, one week prior, the green and white took to the field Sept. 16 for a home matchup with Fitchburg High seeking their first victory in the early goings of the 2022 season.
