PRINCETON – For more than 30 years, a simple and beautiful holiday festival has taken place each December on the town common. Residents, Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts meet at the gazebo for holiday songs and lighting of trees on the common under the musical direction of Patsy Mollica and her husband, John.

Todorov Toy Drive STERLING — The Elizabeth Todorov Toy Drive for the UMass Memorial Children’s Child Life Medical Center continues this year, the 20th year in a row. Due to Covid-19, donations of toys must be only new and unopened items.

PAXTON — Paxton Center School has announced its honor roll for the first quarter honor roll for the 2022-2023 academic year. GRADE 8 High Honors: Emma Harrington, Vifi Nguyen, Graham Norton, Colton Prince, Evan Somasse and Penina Umurerwa.

The Henry David Thoreau Foundation is offering scholarships to Massachusetts high school graduates. The Thoreau scholarships are up to $26,000 four-year scholarships awarded to eight students graduating from public or private high schools in Massachusetts.
