Documentary sparked idea for conservation club

STERLING — The Chocksett Middle School Conservation Club is still going strong five years after a former student watched a documentary about climate change and was moved to do something. Matthew Trombley, now a junior at Wachusett RegionalHighSchool,was that student.

Hey Day returns to Wachusett Meadow

PRINCETON — It was a bright sunny day, with a strong breeze at times, on Saturday, Sept. 24, when Hey Day returned to Wachusett Meadow. As the parking field slowly filled up with visitors, the sound of live music filled the air. The children’s area filled up first, with youngsters working on their nail pounding skills, painting pumpkins, exploring the mini maze, having their faces painted, and creating huge bubbles with hula hoops.
