Holden Woman’s Club awards scholarships

HOLDEN —The Holden Woman’s Club has announced the recipients of the organization’s $2,000 college scholarships. Ella Bradshaw is the daughter of Tyler and Emily Bradshaw, and Dennis Jardine is the son of Douglas and Mariann Jardine.

Sarsfield receives Village Green scholarship

RUTLAND — The Central Tree Middle School PTO is seeking applicants for the annual CTMS PTO Scholarship. The CTMS PTO Scholarship is available to any graduating high school senior who has also graduated from CTMS.

New location expands possibilities for Joshua Allen Design

STERLING — Joshua Halterman and his team had a lot to celebrate in March, including five years in business and a new location for his design firm. The town resident launched Joshua Allen Design in late 2017 out of the home he shares with his husband and their two young children.

Sterling Senior Center art show opens

STERLING — The Senior Center Art Show, featuring K-8 student artists from Houghton Elementary School and Chocksett Middle School, opened Wednesday, May 10. Artwork is on display May and June at the Sterling Senior Center, 36 Muddy Pond Road.

Rota Spring manager/ partner remembered

STERLING — When Vanessa Smith passed away in March, many of the loyal fans and customers of Rota Spring Farm expressed how much they would miss her and her presence in the farm store. Smith was a longtime staple at the farm, having joined the team as a manager in the early 2000s.
