Wachusett class of 2023 fills arena

WORCESTER — The DCU center arena in downtown Worcester was full of families and friends as more than 450 students graduated Thursday, June 8. Pomp and Circumstance played several refrains as the students filed onto the floor of the arena, 2

passing through a green-andwhite arch displayed on the overhead jumbotron. The students smiled and waved as cheers filled from the crowd filled the space.

After the last members of the class reached their seats, class vice president John T. Krikonis led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance, and class president Anthony O. Pulsider gave the welcome. Superintendent James M. Reilly briefly addressed the class, followed by student speakers Gabriela Hamburger Medailleu and John T.J.G. Higgins.

According to the printed program, 482 students were presented with their diplomas by WRHS Principal William P. Beando and Reilly.
