11:26 a.m.: Animal call. Caller reported finding a dog in the Mirick Road area and attempted to call the owner, no answer. While on phone, they made contact with the owner.
12:24 p.m.: Traffic safety, Redemption Rock Trail North. Traffic backed up from Mile Hill all the way onto Redemption Rock and Mile Hill to Route 2. Mountain Road backed up to Gregory Road.
1:14 p.m.: Animal call, Worcester Road. Caller reporting two loose German shepherds in her yard. Animal control out of town. Dogs brought to kennel in Rutland. Owner called in, ACO given info.
2 p.m.: Suspicious motor vehicle, Mountain Road. Two motorcycles traveling high rate of speed heading 140 toward the rotary from Westminster. Notified Sterling.
2:28 p.m.: Suspicious incident, Sterling Road. Caller reporting they found a tent that has weapons in it. A knife and a BB gun, she is unsure if it’s a BB gun. There is also a stove. Items belong to resident. They have been turned over and have been advised to secure the items properly.
2:36 p.m.: Suspicious incident, Worcester Road. Person wanted to report someone peed in a pitcher in his store. Unable to provide who it was, no camera footage does not know when it was done.
10:20 p.m.: Suspicious incident, Redwood Drive. Caller found the bulkhead cracked open, advised she wasn’t the one who opened it and wants to make sure it is nothing suspicious. Bulkhead was left open accidentally, all units clear.
Oct. 16 7:44 a.m.: 911 burglar alarm, Westminster Road. Caller reported she accidentally set off the burglar alarm. She is a waitress there and cleans in the morning. Wanted to call it in in case the alarm company called.
