Endicott College to host climate experts
BEVERLY — Endicott College, located along the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, will host Julian Aguon, environmental lawyer and writer, and Johanna Chao Kreilick, president of the Union of Concerned Scientists, at 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, in the Klebanoff Auditorium in the Curtis L. Gerrish School of Business and Ginger Judge Science Center.
This event is free and open to the public. The two experts will shine a light on the themes of climate change and environmental justice.
Aguon, hailing from Guam, is the founder of Blue Ocean Law, a firm that works at the intersection of Indigenous rights and environmental justice.
Kreilick captains the UCS as a leading science- based advocacy organization that combines technical analysis and advocacy to create and implement innovative, practical solutions for a healthy, safe, and sustainable future.

Simmons University dean’s list
BOSTON — Elizabeth Girard of Holden, and Natalie Bergman and Kayla Valeri of Sterling, were named to the 2022 spring semester dean’s list at Simmons University in Boston. To qualify for dean’s list status, undergraduate students must obtain a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, based on 12 or more credit hours of work in classes using the letter grade system.
