PAXTON — Registered Democrats in Paxton will hold a caucus at the John Bauer Senior Center, 17 West St., at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 9, to elect two delegates and two alternates to the 2024 Massachusetts Democratic Convention, where Democrats from across Massachusetts will gather to endorse candidates for statewide office. The convention will be held on June 1, 2024, at the DCU Center in Worcester.
The caucus is open to all registered Democrats in Paxton, and the Democratic Committee welcomes participants. Delegates will be divided equally between men and women, and all ballots will be written and secret. In the spirit of inclusion, youth, minorities, and people with disabilities who are not elected as delegates or alternates may apply to be “add-on” delegates.
