Dear Readers,
The subscription elves here at CherryRoad Media typed a little too fast recently, and ended up sending out a renewal notice that contained a typo in the senior subscription rate. CherryRoad Media apologizes for the error and for any confusion that ensued.
I received several emails from alert subscribers questioning the notices and the rates; some worried it might be a scam.
Rest assured, you have not been scammed. Your subscriptions really are up for renewal. But the rates on the renewal notices you received may be incorrect. They have since been corrected, and should not cause confusion moving forward.
So, to clarify:
The 6-month senior subscription rate is $29.25; the 1-year senior rate is $53.10. Both rates are a 10 percent reduction from the regular subscription rates.
In addition, a special Fall Into Savings promotion right now (see the ad on age A7 of this issue) offers substantial savings: 1 year for $44.25, or 2 years for $49. I checked, and that 2-year rate is correct. It’s quite the deal!
I hope all subscribers to The Landmark will renew when the time rolls around, and will take advantage of the savings of the season.
I look forward to being your editor in the year to come, as we continue to expand our coverage to serve you, our readers.

P.S. At the special fall savings rate, consider a holiday gift subscription for your friends and neighbors. Expand our community!
