STERLING — The Sterling Fair rose above some steamy, stormy weather this past weekend, drawing fair-goers of all ages to the Sterling Airport grounds.
On Friday, the fairgrounds were evacuated around 7:30 p.m. when a thunderstorm swept in. The fireworks planned for that night were postponed to Saturday. The fairgrounds were closed for a couple of hours on Saturday, again for weather, but reopened in the evening and the fireworks went up at 8:45 p.m.
