WORCESTER — The pre-teen session of the Youth Summer Program at The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts presents Fiddler on the Roof JR. on Friday, Aug. 12, at 2 and 6 p.m.
The cast includes Vivian Broberg of Paxton (Avram’s Daughter), Keryn Browne of Rutland (Motel’s Mother), Sadie Davidson of Holden (Fiddler/Bottle Dancer), Zoe Lavigne of Holden (Yente’s Best Friend 1/Fourth Woman), Leah LeBlanc of Paxton (Mordcha’s Daughter/Priest/Russian Soldier 1/Bottle Dancer), Wyatt Muise of Holden (Tevye), Katherine Parks of Rutland (Golde), Liliana Rossi of Holden (Tzeitel), Amelia Tillberg of Holden (Bielke), Madison Tillberg of Holden (Golde’s Niece/Russian Soldier), Juliette Tirimacco of Holden (Motel’s Sister 1) and Taylor Whigham of Holden (Rabbi’s Wife).
Featuring iconic and beloved songs such as “Sunrise, Sunset,” “If I Were a Rich Man” and “Matchmaker, Matchmaker,” this adaptation of Fiddler on the Roof is the perfect mix of audience-pleasing humor and heart. The nine-time Tony-Award-winning Broadway musical follows Tevye the milkman as he tries to protect his daughters and his way of life from a changing world. Fiddler on the Roof JR. tackles the universal theme of tradition in ways that reach across barriers of race, class, nationality and religion.
