St. Lawrence Univ. graduate
CANTON,N.Y.— Liz Hart of Princeton was one of more than 550 members of St. Lawrence University’s class of 2023 who took part in commencement ceremonies held Sunday, May 21, at Newell Field House in Canton.
Hart is a member of the class of 2023 and majored in environmental studies- English. Hart attended Wachusett Regional High School.
Rensselaer Polytechnic graduate TROY, N.Y. — On May 20, 2023, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute awarded a total of 1,988 degrees — 152 doctoral degrees, 390 master’s degrees, and 1,446 bachelor’s degrees — to 1,957 students, some of whom earned multiple degrees.

Fairfield Univ. graduates
FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Liam Downing and Emily Vandale, both of Holden, graduated from Fairfield University in May 2023.
At the time of graduation, a student must have earned a minimum of 120 credits and completed at least 38 threeor four-credit courses, depending on the course of study, and have an overall grade point average of 2.0 or better at the conclusion of the senior year.
Oregon State Univ. graduate
CORVALLIS, Ore. — Oregon State University will graduate more than 7,300 students during ceremonies Saturday, June 17, at Reser Stadium in Corvallis and Sunday, June 18, at OSUCascades in Bend. The 7,338 graduates will receive 7,583 degrees. There will be 238 students receiving two degrees, two receiving three degrees and one receiving four degrees. OSU’s 2023 graduates represent 34 of Oregon’s 36 counties, 50 states and 71 countries.
Chase Cooke of Holden will receive his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in psychology.
Stonehill College dean’s list
EASTON — The following local students were among nearly 1,000 students named to the spring 2023 dean’s List at Stonehill College: Kamden Biello, Leah Michalowski and Katy Skagerling of Holden; Kailey Pelczarski of Paxton; and Margaret Burton of Rutland.
To qualify for the dean’s list, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have successfully completed all courses for which they were registered.
Univ. of Mississippi honor roll list
UNIVERSITY, MS — Isabella Wnek of Holden was named to the University of Mississippi’s Spring 2023 Honor Roll lists. Wnek, majoring in criminal justice, was named to the Chancellor’s Honor Roll, which is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.75-4.00.
Bucknell Univ. dean’s list
LEWISBURG, Pa. — Bucknell University has released the dean’s list for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 202223 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean’s list recognition.

Regis College dean’s list
WESTON — Regis College announced those students named to the university’s dean’s list for the spring 2023 semester. To earn a spot on the sean’s list, Regis sophomores, juniors, seniors, and professional studies students must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher; first-year students must have a GPA of 3.25 or higher.

Hofstra Univ. dean’s, provost’s lists HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. — Hofstra University is proud to announce the spring 2023 provost’s list, which recognizes students who earned a perfect 4.0 grade point average. Students from the local area to earn this distinction include

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — The following local students received dean’s list honor at Fairfield University for the spring 2023 semester. To be placed on the dean’s list, students must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours in a semester, have no outstanding or incomplete grades for that semester, and have attained a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better.

Univ. of Alabama dean’s list
TUSCALOOSA, Al. — Ryan Luddy of Holden was named to The University of Alabama Deans List for fall semester 2022. A total of 12,791 students enrolled during Fall Semester 2022 at The University of Alabama were named to the dean’s list with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the president’s list with an academic record of 4.0 (all A’s).
Husson Univ. honors lists BANGOR, Maine — Husson University has named students to its president’s, dean’s and honors lists for the spring 2023 semester.
Norah Lynch of Holden has been named to the university’s president’s list. During the spring semester, Lynch was enrolled in Husson’s Bachelor of Science in elementary education program. Students who make the president’s list must be enrolled as an undergraduate student, carry a full-time load of 12 credit hours, complete all attempted courses in the time allotted for the semester, and achieve a 3.80 to 4.0 semester grade-point average.
Skyla Burch of Holden has been named to the dean’s list. During the semester, Burch was enrolled in Husson’s Bachelor of Science in exercise science/ Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program. Students who make the dean’s list must be enrolled as an undergraduate student, carry a full-time load of 12 credit hours, complete all attempted courses in the time allotted for the semester, and achieve a 3.60 to 3.79 semester gradepoint average.
Colin Richardson of Rutland has been named to the honors list. During the spring semester, Richardson was enrolled in Husson’s Bachelor of Science in nursing program. Students who make the honors list must be enrolled as an undergraduate student, carry a full-time load of 12 credit hours, complete all attempted courses in the time allotted for the semester, and achieve a 3.40 to 3.59 semester grade-point average.
