HOLDEN — The Holden Democratic Town Committee presented its recipients of the annual Good Neighbor Award on March 23 at the Holden Senior Center.
This year is the award’s 28th. The award honors citizens of the town who have made significant and/or long term contributions to the community through their volunteer activities.
The 2023 honorees are Marilynn L. Foley, Roy Fraser III, Michael and Nina Mazloff, and Ryan P. Murphy. Foley and Fraser were recognized for their many years with the Holden Bandstand. The Mazloffs were honored as a couple for their work with the Gale Free Library Board of Trustees, the Board of Health, Meals on Wheels and the Community Garden. Murphy was recognized for his work with soccer.
Selectman Tim Ethier made the presentation.
