HOLDEN — The town’s annual election is slated for May 8. Nomination papers were available as of Jan. 3.
Registered voters interested in running for office in the annual town election have until 5 p.m. Thursday, March 16, to pull nomination papers.
Candidates each need 50 certified signatures from registered Holden voters in order to have their name appear on the May 8 ballot.
The filing deadline of nomination papers with the town clerk’s office is 5 p.m. Monday, March 20.
Open seats: Moderator, one oneyear seat; Select Board member, one three-year seat; Trustees of Damon Memorial, two threeyear seats; Wachusett Regional School District Committee, two three-year seats; and Holden Housing Authority, one five-year seat.
