Nov. 2 11:40 a.m.: Phone, suspicious incident, Country Lane. Caller reports he saw two males dressed in business attire carrying a leather satchel, one white, one African American, ring his doorbell and wait approximately 20 seconds and left.
8:02 p.m.: Phone, assist Maynard PD. Hubbardston Road. Maynard advises they are faxing a no trespass order, request the party be notified. Served.
10:38 p.m.: Assist Sterling PD with motor vehicle accident at Justice Hill and Lucas roads.
Nov. 3 9:36 a.m.: Animal call, Hubbardston Road. Two labs, one black, one yellow, got loose. Daisey and Scout should stay together. Parties have located both dogs, and owner has been advised.
9:44 a.m.: Traffic safety, Fitchburg and Rock Pond roads. Resident from Paradise Lane advising of past incident with motor vehicle passing schoolbus as yellow lights were on, at high rate of speed. Car 8 will attempt to contact vehicle owner.
9:50 a.m.: Animal call, Boylston Avenue. Caller reporting he has a black dog he found. Caller from Hubbardston Road advises he also has a dog. Dogs reunited with owner.
10:53 a.m.: Phone, fraud, Hobbs Road. Caller reports their house is up for sale and there is someone who is posting on a dating app with their home’s information. The involved party sent a fake ID and info to someone to try and scam someone else out of money. All info was sent to the homeowner due to it not making sense. The number that was given does not add up to the name given. Officer spoke to reporting party. Will be following up.
Nov. 4 7:42 a.m.: Phone, erratic operator, Fitchburg Road. Caller reported vehicle passed in a no passing zone. Car 3 advised.
10:27 a.m.: Phone, fraud, East Princeton Road. Caller advises person has been using her phone number and providing it to different car dealerships.
3:36 p.m.: 911, Boylston Avenue. Caller advised his neighbor at apartment has been locked out, requesting someone with a master key assist. Advised to contact maintenance, and if they are unable to help, call police non-emergency line. 7:22 p.m.: Motor vehicle violations, arrest, Redemption Rock Trail North and Hobbs Road. Fitchburg woman arrested on charges of operating an uninsured motor vehicle, registration suspended, license suspended (criminal subsequent offense). Bail set at $40. Prisoner bailed.
Nov. 5 10:06 p.m.: Animal call, Deer Path. Caller reports her two dogs jumped out the window and escaped sometime between 9:45 p.m. and now. Described as all black, 100 lb. female dogs. Car 11 requested owner of dogs repond to Sterling Road. Made contact with one owner and he will be responding.
10:24 p.m.: Checked area of Gleason, Houghton, Bull Run and Bullard, unfounded, for two dogs.
Nov. 6 8:44 a.m.: Animal call, Sterling Road. Caller reports two large dogs, one black and one black and light brown, with a collar have possibly killed his chickens. Officers requested owners call.
2:36 p.m.: 911 – erratic operator, Hubbardston Road. Caller advises two motorcycles going toward the center of town at a high rate of speed, unable to provide description. Car 11 advises that he has four of them stopped in the center. Party was spoken to.
3:29 p.m.: Phone, disturbance, Bigelow Road. Caller reports they heard about 30-40 gunshots in the area, unsure of direction. Negative contact in surrounding areas.
3:56 p.m.: Assisting Hubbardston PD with traffic for the structure fire in their town.
Sterling
Nov. 1 11:30 a.m.: Phone, lost/found property, Pikes Hill Road. Lost Apple iPhone on Oct. 10 in vicinity of DCR skating rink in Auburn. Has notified Verizon and Apple. Attempted to trace using Find My Phone app, unsuccessful. Verizon was able to lock down the phone number.
2:16 p.m.: Traffic stop, Pratts Junction and Legate Hill roads. Worcester man to be summonsed. Copy of suspension/revocation requested. Licensed operators en route to pick up driver.
3:48 p.m.: Animal issue, Holden Street. ACO bringing found cat to Worcester Animal Rescue League.
Nov. 2 8:21 a.m.: 911 – Motor vehicle accident personal injury, Interstate 190. Believe car vs. deer. No damage, no injury.
9:36 a.m.: Phone, motor vehicle property damage, Main Street. Advises delivery truck was sideswiped by either FedEx truck or a dump truck. Mirror was struck and broken off. BOLO for FedEx truck with damage.
9:41 a.m.: Walk-in fraud report taken, Pratts Junction Road. Person discovered fraud on bank account last night; notified financial institution. They advise activity is on old account number. Referred to PD for report also.
3:23 p.m.: Animal complaint, Redemption Rock Trail. Female caller requests officer to assist with mother and baby bears crossing road. Area checked, no contact.
10:31 p.m.: Motor vehicle accident, property damage, Lucas Road. Report taken.
Nov. 3 1 p.m.: Phone, vandalism report, Waushacum Avenue. Reports vandalism to the gazebo, trash everywhere, ballast broken, railing broken, has taken pictures. Advised Rec. Dept. will make Facebook posting to make community aware of individuals and the incident. Report of damage will be written.
5:09 p.m.: Traffic stop, Leominster and Laurelwood roads. To be summonsed. Copy requested from Mass Registry of Motor Vehicles of a suspension/ revocation for a Worcester man. Licensed driver took control of vehicle.
5:50 p.m.: Walk-in assist citizen of Blueberry Lane. Person advises telephone scam, all personal information including Social Security number was obtained. Identity theft packet provided.
Nov. 4 7:06 a.m.: Phone, motor vehicle accident – property damage, Leominster Road. Reports vehicle struck, unable to drive it, requests officer. Officer advises parties have exchanged info. Advised to make note that vehicles were parked parallel to each other, one pulled out and sideswiped the other.
Nov. 5 3:47 p.m.: Animal complaint,Campground and Newell Hill roads. Reporting party states he is trying to capture what appears to be a domestic brown and white rabbit that appears to have been dumped in the area. So far attempts have been unsuccessful. ACO advised via text.
Nov. 7 9:54 a.m.: Walkin, neighbor issue, Worcester Road. Report taken re ongoing problem with neighbor.
12:45 p.m.: Traffic Stop, Leominster Road. Copy request from Mass. RMV for Sterling man of suspension/revocation. Another licensed driver took over operations.
5:32 p.m.: 911 – Motor vehicle accident, property damage, Dana Hill Road. Caller reports struck deer, no injuries in vehicle, deer down on side of road not moving. Officer reports vehicle is operable, on its way. Looking for deer. Deer removed from roadway.
9:17 p.m.: Traffic stop, Leominster Road. To be summonsed. Vehicle towed. Copy request to Mass. RMV for suspension/ revocation of license for a Fitchburg man.
