CROP Walk raises funds for Church World Service

HOLDEN — The 44th annual Holden CROP Hunger Walk was held on Sunday, Oct. 16.

One hundred eight walkers and seven canines from nine local churches and one school raised more than $20,000 for Church World Service.

The funds raised from the walk will provide hunger and disaster relief, refugee assistance and self-help development programs throughout the world.

Two local food pantries — Mustard Seed and South Worcester Neighborhood Center — will receive 25% of the funds raised.
