PRINCETON — The Trustees of the Princeton Public Library have announced that Mary Barroll has agreed to come out of retirement to serve as acting library director until a new permanent director is found. The Director Search Committee will continue to work through the process this fall, with the goal of having the position filled for January 2023.
The trustees would like to acknowledge the tremendous effort and dedication of the staff, who took on extra responsibilities to ensure that services and programs continued smoothly throughout the summer. Karen Specht served as acting director, Ginger Toll handled payroll and billing. Nicole Abady, Mark Adler, Meridith Newell, Annie MacLeod, Lori Rabeler and Jessie Trowbridge all stepped up in their special ways to see us through this transition.
Upcoming activities may be found at www. princetonpubliclibrary.org. Drop by to check out our new offerings.
Fall hours at the Princeton Public Library, 2 Town Hall Drive, are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday; and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
