RUTLAND — It was relatively cool and quite shady beneath the trees on the town common Sunday, Aug. 28. To make the setting even better, Chuck and Mud and the Hole in the Dam band were on the new bandstand playing for the crowd.
Rutland residents and guests gathered Sunday for a family picnic to continue the celebration of the town’s 300th birthday.
