CherryRoad has subcontracted with M Corp, a Sacramento-based company that has handled approximately 20 legacy migration projects for the State of California, to assist in this engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative, termed FI$Cal (Financial Information System for California), is a ground-breaking, statewide business transformation project which encompasses the areas of budgeting, accounting, procurement, and cash management. CherryRoad\u2019s contract with the FI$Cal Project, a partnership with the Department of Finance, State Controller\u2019s Office, State Treasurer\u2019s Office, and Department of General Services, is approximately $26 million and given the scope and complexity, will take several years to complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Together, CherryRoad and M Corp will provide the State with the necessary expertise and services required to successfully prepare for and execute legacy systems identification, legacy artifacts collection, and the migration of legacy systems data into the new FI$Cal PeopleSoft Enterprise Resource Planning staging area.
