At the project\u2019s conclusion the Commonwealth transformed the way in which it serves its constituents, setting a new benchmark for other states to follow. The project, which has impacted the entire Commonwealth in a highly positive manner, consolidated more than 25 internal systems and numerous financial business processes, eliminated multiple individual systems, and standardized all interfaces to the Treasury. The original budget, slated at $42 million, was completed on time and $7 million under budget.
